How This Journey Began: Part Two

Like many people dealing with the hardships of the pandemic, I took it as an opportunity to reevaluate my life and where it was going. Call it a global phenomenon if you will, but many people were thinking of a career change during those months. Being a designer by trade, I did not necessarily want to switch profession, but more my setting. I love creating. Bringing concepts and ideas to real life is what I do best. But I always wanted to be an entrepreneur and be my own boss. 

Health and fitness is something that is near and dear to my heart. Years ago, I decided that if one day if I were to open my own company, it would have to be in this realm. When I created the Adaptable Club & Mace as a personal project I had no intentions of replicating it for anyone else. But fast forward a year and suddenly an idea began brewing in my head. I saw a tiny crack in the door and decided to step through with both feet and the House of Hercules was born. 

The chance to combine the things I'm passionate about into one single project was something that was very attractive to me. Aside from that, I want the opportunity to help people and provide a service to them that can benefit their lives. In my opinion there is no better motivation for a business owner. 

And thus in May of 2022, exactly one week after the birth of my daughter,  houseofhercules.com was launched. Trying to balance the launch of a new company while being there for my wife and children was not easy. It was a wild ride to say the least but one that was exciting and worth it. 

I plan to have more stuff in the store up soon as well as more content for the website. So stay tuned!
